Okay...this post is a little late!! WARNING!!! I never wrote about Marissa's birthday on September 23. If you've never invited a dozen mostly four-year-olds to roller skate...you haven't lived. :) The girls had so much fun. Bright lights, loud music, all the popcorn you can eat, cupcakes, lemonade, skating, friends, and presents!! Of course, we had the princess party theme. Marissa is into anything princess. But, Mama wanted to bake a special castle cake and Marissa said no. She was concerned about getting it to the skating rink, so she requested cupcakes. She had very specific plans about what she wanted, and had planned this roller skating bash months before her birthday. With Daddy as her advocate, of course, this party was gonna happen!
