Dance

Marissa loves to dance! Makes sense...she loves music and loves to move. Marissa is in a traditional Chinese dance class with seven other girls who are from China and have families just like hers. The hour we spend at dance class are a great blessing for both of us. Marissa bonds with other girls like her and learns Chinese music, dance, and language. I talk with other mothers - all about my age - all with daughters from China. In February the girls will all dance at the Nelson Art Gallery for Chinese New Year. Their teacher, Miss Lily is from China and was an established dancer there, and also traveled worldwide. She will also perform at the Nelson. I know the girls will love to see her dance! The girls have such great respect for Miss Lily, but for as much discipline as she gives them, she also shows them just as much love. She has danced her way into our hearts.
