One of the things I love about Marissa is her ability to focus and concentrate on things. Everyone who knows her knows she runs on high speed, yet she has an awesome ability to stop and do things like color, draw, read, work puzzles, etc. I've never worried about her "disappearing" in the house because when she does, she is reading a book. Look at her study this straw as she takes off the wrapper. She is probably computing an analysis of the paper, etc. :) She has extraordinary observation skills. She was likely strong in that area to begin with, then had ten months to lay and observe life happening around her. She is so precious to us. I love the way she thinks.
